CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT A list of proposed consignment items must be sent to The Stevensons for approval prior to the shipment of any merchandise unless we have specified otherwise. Based on our sales experience, The Stevensons reserve the right to specify items acceptable for consignment. When notified to do so, the consignor may ship or deliver the items to The Stevensons. It is recommended that the consignor insure the merchandise during shipment. While consigned items are held by The Stevensons, they will be insured by The Stevensons. The Stevensons will offer the items for sale through e-mail catalogs, Scout Memorabilia shows, auctions and by personal contact with regular customers of Scouting memorabilia. The consignor may establish the retail price for any or all items for the first offering. The Stevensons will price any item not priced by the consignor. Items that remain unsold from the first offering will be offered again at a 10% discount. Third and fourth offerings at discounts of 25% and 50% respectively will follow unless the consignor wishes the unsold items to be returned. Between 30 and 45 days following each offering, The Stevensons will settle with the consignor for items that have sold. The consignor will be sent a summary statement of sales and a check for 70% of the gross sales. The Stevensons retain 30% of gross sales as compensation for their services and expenses. All unsold items, at the conclusion of the final offering will be auctioned in bulk or returned, insured, at the consignor's expense. The cost of returning items will be deducted from the final settlement. The identity of a consignor is always kept confidential by The Stevensons unless agreed upon otherwise.
